The art historian and collector Sir Richard Brinsley Ford, enjoyed sharing his collection with visitors to Wyndham Place. Courtauld students were some of his guests and were taken on tours by Sir Brinsley himself to see his collection of Old Master and contemporary artists, Renaissance and Baroque sculpture and ceramics. Some of that collection is coming to Basildon Park, Berkshire, on a long term loan. We would love to hear from anyone with memories of Sir Brinsley and visits to the collection when you were a student. We would like to create both a written and oral history archive of reminiscences to share with our visitors to enrich their enjoyment of this special collection. If you are willing to share some of your memories, please contact oonagh.kennedy@nationaltrust.org.uk or OralHistory@nationaltrust.org.uk

Many thanks and I look forward to hearing from you,

Oonagh
